What are your first thoughts upon waking?
Submitted by Cher Cabula.
We have an older neighbor and have an understanding that the first one up brings back the newspaper for the other. So, on most mornings, I wake up and think about saving Marge the trouble of going downstairs to retrieve the newspaper. On the other mornings, I think about being toooo comfortable (or tired) to leave bed.

What television show stands the test of time?
M*A*S*H the humor is solid and the writing is crisp. It must have been because the series lasted longer than the war did. When we first moved back, the Hallmark Channel put 2 hours of M*A*S*H on every evening and, yes, I caught most of the episodes. I know, but I wasn't working, and it was foggy. I did not see the biggies, like when Henry left the show or the final episode, but I did catch most of the rest of them in between. Now it is one of the highlights of doing cardio at the gym in the evenings.
What celebrity do you most often get told you resemble?
Submitted by Leets.
That chick from "Just Shoot Me" Laura San Giacomo. I tell them I am not, they ask "really?". I'm waiting to get something as a result -- a free bottle of wine or something. I just don't see it.
What was your favorite road-trip of all time?
Submitted by bodhibound.
July 1998 we drove through the "flyover states" and made a 10,000 mile trek across our country.
We left SF, drove I80 East and stopped along the way in Salt Lake City, UT, Cheyenne, WY, Omaha, NE, and Columbus, OH near the huge Ohio State Stadium. We picked up freshly baked bread from a friend in Iowa City, IA, visited the famous town of Punxsutawney PA, stayed on the Jersey Shore, we stayed with family in NY, we stayed with a friend in Boston, we took the ferry to Nantucket. We then headed back, drove I90 West and visited Niagara Falls, drove into Canada, drove past Chicago, took a Duck Boat ride in the Wisconsin Dells, saw the famous Wall Drugs, the Mitchell Corn Palace, walked around Devil's Tower, the Badlands, saw the fog at Mt. Rushmore, cruised all around Yellowstone, the Grand Tetons, stayed in Jackson, WY, stopped in Reno, NV went home for 2 days, then changed clothes and drove to Vegas for a long weekend.
It rocked.
What was your worst hairstyle decision ever?
To get my hair cut by a straight guy (not that there is anything wrong with that) who had tatoo's of scissors on his forearm.
What item(s) do you have to prevent yourself from buying at the grocery store?
Submitted by Places Unknown.
It would have to be potato chips, or some horrible onion flavored salty ring thing, or some fake nacho-cheesey triangle thing. Or, Andy Capp fries. Yes, yes, my guilty pleasure are those horrid snack food bags of snacks. By the way, have you ever tried those Pirate Booty veggie puffs as an alternative? Don't. Peh.
How well does your name Google? Who are you up against? (Celebrities, etc.)
Submitted by Matt Blank.
It Google's fairly well -- the first 3 are me, the next 3 are not, the last 3 on the first page are me (quotes, press releases, etc from three of my last jobs). After that, I am pretty much mixed in with others who share my either my first or last name ... no celebs.
When was the last time you interacted with any sort of wildlife?
Submitted by warpedreality.
The weekend before last we went for a hike at China Camp in Marin. We saw a snake. A long slithery snake. Slithering up the side of the trail. This weekend we hiked to Muir Beach but we did not see whales or bobcats as the dry erase board at the ranger kiosk said we might. We did see a ton of seagulls floating on the water just offshore and many little bugs that liked to attach themselves to our shirts. Oh, and a few poodles. Poodles are considered wildlife, right?
